VERTEX is Mint Motive’s home for makers.
In a 3D model, a vertex is where lines meet to make something solid. Here, you’re the vertex: every model you share, remix, print or recommend connects you to someone else, and together those connections make the mesh.
A creator studio
Share what you design in five guided steps: files, the story behind it, real print photos, the settings that worked, and the licence you choose. Print-ready listings earn a badge and bonus points.
A community
Profiles that are yours to style, followers, posts, repositories, Test Prints, builds and Sparks. A For You feed that learns what you make, and a forum for everything else.
Recognition
Badges with their own icons, winners every week and month, a leaderboard, and roles that follow you into the Discord server.

You don’t need to know anything to join VERTEX. Every maker here started with a failed first print, and most of us still get it wrong. That’s how making works. Whether you’ve never printed a thing or you run a workshop, you’re welcome here.

VERTEX is now an app.
Put VERTEX on your home screen and it opens full screen like any other app, remembers you’re signed in, and still shows something useful when you lose signal. There’s nothing to download from a store yet: install it straight from your browser.

How it all works
Getting started
Make an account with your email, Google, Microsoft, Discord, GitHub or Facebook. Pick a username (capitals are fine), tell us what you mostly make, and you're in. Everything you can see without an account stays free: every generator, every download.
Using the generators
Open a generator, set the size in grid units or millimetres, choose your printer so it fits the bed, and download a 3MF or STL. Save a design to come back to it, or set your favourite settings as defaults. Tool trace works from one photo of your tools on a sheet of A4 or Letter paper.
Sharing a model
The creator studio walks you through it and saves as you go. You'll need a model file, a name, a category, a description, a licence, and at least one real photo of it printed. Renders and slicer screenshots go in their own section, clearly labelled. Add a slicer project, your print settings and three real photos, and it's marked Print-ready.
Licences and remixes
Models made with the generators are public domain. Models you upload carry the licence you choose, from public domain to Creative Commons with or without credit, changes or commercial use. A remix links back to the original and its maker is told; you can only share someone else's design with their permission.
Your profile, posts and followers
Style your profile with a cover, an accent colour, featured badges and pinned highlights. Post updates about what you're making, name your followers, and choose how you hear about things: on the site, by email, or on your phone.
Test Prints, builds and Sparks
Printed something? Post a build with photos, or a Test Print with a rating so others know what to expect. Everyone gets a few Sparks a week to boost the models they love most.
Community guidelines
Be kind, give credit, share only what you have the right to share, and keep photos real. Moderators can hide posts, quarantine files and suspend accounts, and every suspension can be appealed.
Privacy
We don't sell your data or show ads. Your real name stays private unless you choose to show it, photos have their location data removed, and you can download or delete your account at any time.
