How it works

MotiveMesh tiles sit on a 30 mm node grid. Each tile is a weight-saving lattice, joins its neighbours with dovetail connector keys, and screws to the wall or desk at the corners. Every node is a twist-to-lock socket: push a pin through an accessory and the tile, turn it a quarter turn, and it locks with no rattle. Studio parts can use hidden 6 × 2 mm magnets instead.

MotiveMorph builds the parts for your filament and your space. The Paddock (sim rig and garage) is isogrid or honeycomb in slate and fluro green, with blowout vents and exposed screws. The Studio (creator desk) is solid slate and sage with 45° chamfers, hidden magnets and cable slots. The Galley (kitchen and home) is a smooth sand-coloured exo-shell with its ribs hidden inside and every inside corner rounded so nothing gets trapped.

On the desk, the Desk Pod is the freestanding member of the family: a unit with a front that leans back, open with lattice dividers in the Paddock, closed with an organiser faceplate or a window in the Studio, or a rounded cubby in the Galley. Pods link side by side into one long unit, or hang on MotiveMesh with twist-lock pins.

Pick ASA or a carbon-fibre filament and the engine swaps solid walls for an exposed skeleton: lighter, faster to print and still stiff.

What you need

• A 3D printer (a 256 mm bed fits an 8 × 8 tile)
• ASA, PETG-CF or PA-CF for the Paddock skeleton; PLA or PETG for everything else
• Wood screws or wall plugs for the tile corners
• Optional: 6 × 2 mm magnets for Studio parts
• A second filament colour for the pins, if you like the green snap
